Kenmore Exclusive Outdoor Oven
Your grill includes the new and innovative Outdoor Oven
from Kenmore. This feature gives more versatility to your
grill with the ability to prepare foods not possible on a grill
before. Now you can bake, toast or even warm foods as
you grill.
The oven is used just like the one in your kitchen. Use the
temperature and time called out in your recipe.
Temperature Settings:
Due to the changes in temperature and wind in the outdoors
the temperature settings are not exact and will be slightly
different each time you cook.
The chart below is an approximate guide to the temperature
settings of the Oven valve.
1 – 250 Degrees F
2 – 350 Degrees F
3 – 400 Degrees F
4 – 450 Degrees F
5 – 475 Degrees F
To set the temperature, turn the knob to the setting closest to
the desired temperature. After 10 minutes, check the
temperature gauge on top of the Oven. Adjust the knob to
increase or decrease the temperature. Allow 5 minutes for
the temperature to stabilize. To drop the temperature
quickly, open the door and hold open for one minute.
Please note that the temperature will drop anywhere from
10 to 25 degrees after food is placed inside the oven.
Timer operation
To use the timer turn the knob to the desired time. Note
that for times less than 10 minutes, the timer needs to be
turned past the 10 minute mark and then brought back to
the desired time.
Cleaning
For cleaning use warm soap and water. DO NOT use oven
cleaner, steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or abrasive cleaning
