The PR EH EAT pad controls the Preheat feature. The Preheat feature will bring the oven up to temperature and then
indicate when to place the food in the oven. Use this feature when recipes call for preheating. Preheating is not necessary
when roasting orcooking casseroles. The oven can be programmed to preheat at any temperature between 170°F to 550°F
(77“Cto288“C).

INSTRUCTIONS
To set the Preheat temperature for 375°F
1. Arrange the interior oven racks.
2. Press(^. "350" will appear, "UPPER”and "BAKE" will flash in

elements cycling. Also the convection fan will turn on to help the
oven reaching the desired temperature faster (Figures 3 & 4).
Note: After the oven has reached the desired temperature (this
example, 375°F) a beep will be heard indicating this istime to PLACE
FOOD IN THE OVEN, the convection element will turn off and the
display will show "375°" (Figure 5). The oven will continue to operate
in a Bake mode.
Press when baking is complete or to cancel the preheat feature. ^t^
To change Preheat temperature while oven is
preheating (example: changing from 375 to 425°F)
If itis necessary to change the preheat temperature whiletheoven is
preheating to the original temperature:

1. While preheating, press (g). "375" will appear, "UPPER" and
"BAKE" will flash, the oven icon will remain in the display
(Figures).
2. Enter the new preheat temperature. Press CK)
"425°" will appear in the display (Figure 7).

3. Press ; START "UPPER" and "BAKE" stop flashing and remain in
the display. "PRE" will appear in the display until the desired
temperature (here, 425°F) is reached (Figure 8). At that time the
display will show "425°". A long beep will sound once the oven
temperature reaches425°F.
4. When baking is complete press (^^■
Note: While in preheat mode, the convection fan will be activated
during the first rise of temperature to allow the oven to reach its target
temperature faster.
